Moikgantsi Kgama
Founder & Executive Director
Moikgantsi Kgama an audience development specialist with a reputation for excellence in her field. Her credits include: I WILL FOLLOW, Academy Award nominated TROUBLE THE WATER, KILLER SHEEP and LUMUMBA to name a few. She founded of the ImageNation Cinema Foundation, a Harlem-based nonprofit media arts organization on 1997. ImageNation presents progressive media by and about people of color, with the goal of establishing a chain of art-house cinemas dedicated to these works. Through a variety of public exhibitions and programs, ImageNation fosters media equity, media literacy, solidarity, cross-cultural exchange and highlights the humanity of Pan-African people worldwide.
Moikgantsi’s accolades include being named one of 25 Women Who Are Shaping the World by Essence Magazine, received the Trailblazer Award from Reel Sisters Film Festival and a proclamation from the City of New York for her work with ImageNation. Moikgantsi earned a BS in Newspaper Journalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications. A Harlem resident, she proudly served as the Director of Communications at Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc for 17 years.

Gregory Gates
Executive Producer
Gregory Gates has worked in production for major concerts, television shows and films for more than a decade. Serving as a production coordinator and more for Michael Jackson, Madonna, Beyonce' and Stevie Wonder to name a few, Gregory has worked at the Apollo Theater, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, The Barclay Center, and the Prudential Theater. Gates has more than 20 years of event production experience, and is a lover of the arts and Black culture. Under the guise of his Eucalyptus Entertainment production company, he established a national poetry slam at Harlem's World Famous Apollo Theater. Eucalyptus events have featured the nation's most prominent poets and artists. Gates officially joined ImageNation in 2000, lending his passion and expertise to ImageNation programs and events. He resides in the Harlem community.
