ImageNation Cinema Foundation is proud to celebrate nutritionDay Worldwide on November 15th at Raw Space. The day focuses on a worldwide initiative to fight malnutrition in health care institutions. It is especially fitting to address this global problem, locally.

In honor of this landmark initiative ImageNation will host a Nutrition Day Pop Up Shop & Panel Discussion on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Raw Space Gallery located at 2031 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd, New York, NY 10027. A healthy and cultural  eating pop up shop will take place from 4:30pm to 9pm. A special screening of popular short film ‘Sweet Thang’ by China L Colston, which explores how sugar affects the body through a satirical love story, followed by an engaging panel discussion will begin at 6:30pm. Through out the event there will be healthy eating food demonstrations from local alkaline chefs, nutritionists, and educators. Proceeds from the event will benefit a local health institution to address nutritional strategies.

Sweet Thang's unique "sugah" has divided New York's Black natives forcing her to decide whether to set up shop elsewhere or remain a commercial force where she was born and raised.
